We are currently looking for a candidate to join our team and fill a full time sushi chef position.

Job Responsibilities:

    • Create high quality sushi and maki including cooking rice, rolling sushi, temperature recording, cutting and packaging for take-out and dine-in plate preparation
    • Ensure all operating standards including hygiene, food safety and quality are strictly adhered to
    • Provide a high level of attention to guest satisfaction
    • Actively display knowledge of all food menu items and current promotions
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of sushi station
    • Assist the head chef in ordering and receiving raw materials and dry goods and other functions

Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience as sushi chef
    • Good knowledge of Japanese cuisine and Japanese culinary terms
    • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team
    • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor
    • Flexibility to work various shifts and weekends
